Cancellation & refunds
Last updated 17 October 2026
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, in either of two ways:
- In the web app: Settings → Plan & billing → Cancel.
- In your UPI app or with your card issuer, by revoking the Daybook mandate.
Cancelling stops all future renewals. You keep your plan until the end of the month or year you have already paid for; nothing more is charged. After that, your data stays readable and exportable in the web app, and your phone keeps working as the free app.
The trial
The free trial is free and needs no payment details. If you subscribe during it, you are not charged until it ends — cancel before then and you pay nothing. When you set up the mandate, your bank or Razorpay may take a small verification amount; it is returned automatically.
Refunds
Because you can cancel any time and keep what you paid for, we do not refund the unused part of a period you cancel during. We do refund in full:
- any charge made after you cancelled, or after your account was deleted;
- a duplicate charge, or a charge for a different amount than the plan’s price;
- a yearly plan, if you ask within 7 days of its first charge (not of its renewals);
- the unused part of a paid period if we end your service for any reason other than misuse of it.
To ask for a refund, write to hello@openkhalix.com from your account’s email address with the receipt number. We reply within 2 working days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay; banks usually take 5–7 working days to show them.
Failed renewals
If a renewal fails, you keep access for a grace period (shown in the web app) while it is retried, and we let you know in the web app. If it still fails, the plan lapses — nothing is owed, and you can subscribe again whenever you like.
Deleting your account
Deleting your Daybook Cloud account cancels the subscription immediately, and no further charge is taken. The unused part of the current period is not refunded unless one of the cases above applies.
No physical goods
Daybook is a digital service. Nothing is shipped; access starts as soon as payment is confirmed.
